But we we dun change then he will suffer when he is Pri one coz am aiming to register him at Pei Hwa...

Just imagine if most of the students in the class are at a certain standard except my child ... tink 99% the teacher will surely change gear and move to higher one ...then my boy will not be able to catch up liao ....

Will be worst coz will hv even have lower morale ...lower self esteem ...

For my situation,my bet is he really dun like his eng teacher therefore the new ctre i hv to make sure i bring him to visit the ctr...see if he like the place anot,then arrange with the new ctr...let him has a chance to meet the form teacher and see his reactions before i decide lor...PLUS must make sure the ctr has lower ratio so the teacher can hv more time to coach him in order to catch up with the rest....

Am facing a very very tough situation here hope to seek some adv fm Mummies. And Daddies ya

My boy K2 this year …he was being transferred to current CC last year when he was in K1.

He was behind his peers as adv fm the CC teachers as he previous CC did not start them on phonics during nursery .

Teachers and myself gave him a year to see if he can catch up with the rest but sad to say my boy dun like the English teacher so till now he is still behind his peers for Eng

But His Chinese improved Tremendously … He kept telling everything abt his wu Lao shi… Not much prob on mandarin except his strokes are not up to
standard yet still he made an effort to do it

But when it comes to reading of books and phonics he seems to shut himself …the teacher even made an effort to coach him individually yet he has not made much improvements at all

His feedbacks to me on his Eng teacher : I dun like mrs Rama, always scolds him .
Am planning to change them to a new CC since my new maid will be in by
Apr … I have a younger girl at N2 too

Current CC is at butik batok reason our bbsitter lives there but we are at bukit timah.Since am gonna hv maid so no more bbsitter so tot of finding a
CC near to our area…


1.Should I change the CC since my boy is not doing tat well in this CC?
2. Current CC Location quite far.
3.But current CC has very good standards am worry if I change to another will he has any problems over there? Better or worst?
4.Next year my boy p1 … Eventually I still need to change my girl to a nearer cc too!
5.Worry on the change of environment n adpation Of new childcare?btw new childcare has lesser kids as compared to current … Teacher can spend more time on him too as per the new CC teacher…

My two girls Went to WG

Elder girl now in Nan Hua

2nd girl still in WG

When I registered my girl at WG , it was just a new neighborhood sch , at tat time were were staying around jurong central no gd schs except rulang but which confirm cannot de so popular

Left both girls wen they were very young coz the papa had an affair with a china women

Both girls had always been in the best class , thru out all the 6 yrs... Conclusion better make sure yr kids in the 1st two best class coz it makes a dif according to my girls

Standard wise not very high as I had told them .... Even if u r in the best class n with in top 10 still unable to compete with the top schools ....

My eldest initial aim RV bad did badly so end up NAn Hua but no regrets wor according to her

Btw even though I am not with my girls today I still keep vey close contact with them... See me more then the papa haas coz he busy wif work n new wife ba

Anyway, this year my 2nd girl will be taking the PSLE too.So all I can say is dun depend so much on the sch ... Which I did not I just make tat both in the best class in order to get the best out of the sch ! Coz only two class will be having higher MT ( provided yr child's result in Chinese hv been good la)

as mummies hv to monitor their results n help them as n when they need plus listen to them rather then nag

If your child does not get into PHPS in P2C, you will not be able to apply with Henry Park in P2CS, because places Henry Park will likely be taken up in P2C, too. For P2CS, you will have to apply to schools that still have vacancies in P2CS. Popular schools are generally filled up in P2C. Hence, you will have to go to those not so popular school. Unfortunately, Henry Park is not one of those.

but my area nearest is only these schs...PHPS,Henry Park,Butik Timah,MGS ,Raffles etc...

But now is registering for SON so only 3 schs to choose fm...wat u tink abt Bukit timah sch?
