Hi, anyone interested car pool from north like Yishun, to woodlands ¿ tried private bus supplier but fully booked. We don’t have car but would like to share cost with others if any parents got car.
Hello experienced parents, may I know school will issue any laptop to student¿ thinking to buy iPad but if school provides it then maybe no need, thanks
Yeah, all the best to us AL6.. :imcool: :imcool: :imcool: :imcool:

my son got AL6, may I know is it good enough for HCI? btw, if lucky enough to get in, any idea about school bus or car pool from Yishun? thanks everyone.
Thanks! I watched the video and they gave a very good talk on how to deal with science questions. not focusing on answer itself, but more emphasize on how to read the question and how to think from there. very helpful, thinking to ask them more about tuition if needed later on.

I have sent u a PM as there’s a good video recording posted on You Tube recently about how to coach your child in PSLE Science by Blue Tree Education. 55 min of your time spent to watch it will not be wasted IMO.[/quote]
Hi Zac's mum, thank you so much. We just discussed with English teacher. Need to scope out weak point first. And very clear for score target for each section: SW, Comp, Oral, etc. much clearer right now. maybe tuition need to be considered again because even to follow up with teacher is a little bit challenge already. Spelling when shower, Oral when walking :stupid: :stupid:

Also ask if the school teachers can provide remedial lessons for him to help him catch up. Or he can initiate and seek clarification from the subject teachers if he doesn’t understand anything.
As his situation is quite different from other kids, I won’t recommend group tuition at all. Try to get a 1-1 home tutor who can assess the gaps and do a personalized approach to help him catch up. Most of them would be fully booked for P6 already but try asking around his classmates mums or your returning Singaporeans network. Online tuition is not really effective IMO but if he prefers due to logistics constraints, u can simply ask the tutor to conduct the lesson via Zoom.
thanks a lot. the kind of summary tables put in the screen shot is very helpful for us. It can quickly give us idea where is the focus and how much effort to put for each part. thinking to look for help from one of these tuitions. Any recommendation? Especially online tuition.

U may want to attend those free PSLE webinars by various tuition centres held online via Zoom, they are useful for parents to understand what is required for PSLE. U can also join some PSLE support groups in Facebook, there are tutors and parents there happy to answer exam questions that your child cannot figure out.my boy didn't take P4 and P5 in Singapore, next week will be joining back to P6 because he was born in 2009. missing two years study and now need to deal with PSLE~~~~~~~~ stress...
For science, to pick up what we missed in P4/P5, is it good enough to utilize the P5 SA2 test papers? anyone know the weight for P4/P5/P6 in PSLE for science exam?
For English and Chinese composition, do we follow certain formats with some requirements on number of words to use, or it's more like free style to write?
thank you so much.
English and Chinese composition will be according to PSLE format, u can buy the 3-year series from Popular or Open Schoolbag (online shop) to familiarize yourself with the formats.
