Hihi, I am a newbie here, need your candid opinion. My girl has gotten a place at ATS. As RGPS is within 1km from my place, we are in a big dilemma now as to whether or not to give up our place and go for RGPS at 2C which has a high chance too.

I would greatly appreciate to hear from all of you on which school you would choose and why?

if u prefer SAP school environment, stick to Ai Tong.
if yr girl like Artistic gym cca, stick to Ai Tong.
if yr girl prefer Rhythmic gym, then come to Rgps.
What other Ccas found in Ai Tong, absent in Rgps, or vice versa : u can google to check the difference in Cca, between these 2 schools...
both Rgps and Ai Tong : not affliated to any Secondary school...

Light hearted moments aside, if commuting is not an issue, I'd much prefer to send my child to an SAP school. The limits of my language mean the limits of my world. - Wittgenstein
Commuting is ok. Minus the early hour and sacrificing their precious sleep time.
Love the quote! Comes aptly for me 🙂

Hihi, thanks everyone here for sharing w me your opinions and perspectives. Much appreciated it!

floppy & lee_ly, I actually have 2 girls. Hence, dilemma x2. Having heard that RGPS papers are generally more difficult, my sense is that the stress level there is much higher than in ATS.

phtthp, thanks for pointing me to cca. I have not seriously thought about that. It is very difficult to say at this juncture whether the kids are academically strong but like u say, I am also considering SCGS mainly for its distance and affiliation. Looking at the no of seats remaining plus the fact that I am situated in the 1-2km zone, I am not very optimistic.

Not sure if anyone know how’s the culture like in SCGS? How’s the peer pressure there and do they set a strong foundation for the kids?

Hi all - Can someone help with my queries?

Would like to check what kind of canteen food is sold? and about how much per portion?
Does any parents here pack food for their kids to be eaten during the morning break?
What about lunch - also pack food? Becoz I heard that the kids will only reach home about 2 plus to 3pm...

Thanks in advance!

Regards
Ashley
