    • RE: Infused water

I seldom drink water. Started drinking water with chia seeds recently. I am on iron tab because of low blood count and find after drinking I do not have constipation. Previously I need to take plum every other day to help.

Keen to try infused water with so many ideas given here. Thanks to all.

    • RE: Menopause Symptoms Management

      Early 50s.

I heard that perimenopause symptons last about a year (hope so as it will be 1 year soon for me).

My gp told me that if I do not have menses for 1 year that means menopause completed/over.

    • RE: Menopause Symptoms Management

My menses is very regular and usually same routine heavy first 1-2 days and then light flow for another 5 days. I keep a record and know that I always skip a month, meaning I have menses for 11 months each year.

I had light-med heavy flow for 48 days in feb-mar 2014. I started reading on menopause and came to know about perimenopause symptons. I also started to feel hot easily, especially feel so at night but just turn the aircon cooler and it did not bother me. Other than the current itchy skin issue, I am fine.

    • RE: Menopause Symptoms Management

      Hi ammonite,

Thanks for your advice but I think I am starting to menopause. My mother had an easy one so I am hoping all the symptons will cleared up soon.

When I have heavy flows, I buy liver and cook with ginger slices like a soup and eat/drink everything. I do not have any health issue other than a low blood count. Been having hot flashes since early 2014 but it does not bother me. It is only when my skin starts to itch recently that I find it difficult to sleep at night. But I am feeling better today đŸ˜„

    • RE: Menopause Symptoms Management

I am not sure that’s a sympton of menopause. I have irregular bowel movement but likely due to taking iron tablets. I find taking plums helps.

    • RE: Menopause Symptoms Management

I started having heavy flow from Feb 14. Was ignorant and did not see a doctor till I could not even walk proper pace due to too much blood loss (no energy). The heavy flow was irregular, some months were normal. I learn

to monitor and once it exceed the normal 6-7 days, I will take 2 iron tab daily instead of 1 tab as I was put on it due to low blood count, 2 bottles of brand’s essence of chicken (my mum told me it helps to stop) and Vit B for
energy and it does help me manage the heavy flow months to be able to work and go about my daily chores.

    • RE: Menopause Symptoms Management

I have been having hot flashes which was manageable until my skin starts to itch about 2 weeks ago. Saw a doctor yesterday and his diagnosis was menopause symptoms.

Given atarax to take in the night (anti-histamine), fobancort (a steriod) and menoflavon tab.

Hope the itchyiness will subside soon (difficult to sleep). Is there anyone who have this same condition and have any advice to share.

    • RE: Travel: Australia - Melbourne

Been to Melbourne earlier this year in May. There are many nice cafes and restaurant there but price is a bit steep about aud 18-20+ per pax. Love the figs and dips from Queen Victoria market (I like visiting markets in australia).

My daughter booked a dinner for two of us in this tramcar, was a nice experience
