I sometimes wonder if a vegatarian diet did cause my kids to be shorter than they should really be.Some years back, our family became semi-vegetarian. We switched from 6 chickens, 2 beef and some fish a week to close to nothing, except for lots of tofu and some milk and some fish.In those years, my 3 older kids were growing from childhood to early teens. 7 years on, my son is 15 and still at 1.75m. All my cousins and their children are in their 1.9s. My 14 year old daughter only stands at 1.63m, all of us are over 1.7m, and my 12 year old is only 1.56m.I am not sure, but sometimes I wonder what would be like if I had continued on a meat diet. These days, I got more relaxed and we started back on meat, partly because I see those meat eating friends of my children all shot up really tall even though their parents are much shorter than me.And, my kids are not short of exercise and stretching.I don’t advocate meat, and don’t buy a lot of that. But I just wonder…
