    • RE: Q&A - PSLE Science

      Hi! All,

Then, may I know if the thing, let’s say a small metal block, put on the top of a cupboard has gravitational potential energy?

      thanks.

      Hi! All,

      Can solve the following question?

June Jie bought some candies that came in square pyramid packages. Each pyramid had a square base area of 1 cm square and a vertical height of 1 cm. He then packed the candies in a box measuring 6 cm by 4 cm by 4 cm. What was the maximum number of such candies he could pack into the box?

      thanks.

      Hi! Nebbermind,

I think option 2 is correct! I think the elastic band can be stretched, if not it will not be called an elastic band!
      For option 4, ...I don't know!! :?: :?: :?: :? :? :?

      Hi! Nebbermind

Thanks a lot! However, the answer on the exercise book is a, b, c. Could it be that the powder makes the surface the car is moving on more slippery? I think the answer in the exercise book is wrong! I really don't know! Need to check with others!! Once again, thanks!! πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„

      Another challenging question:

A group of boys were competing to see whose car can travel the greatest .
The car is flung forward using a elastic band like a captapult on the ground.

If you were one of them, what can you do to increase the chances of winning?

      1. extend the elastic band as far as possible
      2. use a thicker rubber band
      3. use a lighter toy car
      4. put some powder on the surface the car is travelling on

      thanks!! :? :? :?: :?: :?: :?:
