Does anybody know if there is a direct bus service from Punggol to Rosyth? Approximately how long is the bus ride?

Izmum, I just popped by the website and it certainly looks interesting. Will arrange a time to bring my ds down for a trial. Thank you!

For GEP student, if you shown very strong in math and science during p4 and p5, nuss will invite you you join the school after p6 even you are only at p5.
One of my dd classmate was given the offer at p5
Even if he was not in gep, it is highly probable he would still get the NUS High offer. NUS High looks for top performers in NMOS and SPSO. -
RE: Art class
Hi izmum,
How old is your ds when he started with Heart Studio? Can you share what kind of activites your ds did there besides drawing? My ds is turning 4 next year. I am thinking of an art class for him. -

So good ah. Maybe ds's teachers were more hardworking...
Not for CHS too. It's play & more play, after the GEP exams !
Anyway, different centers may have different ways of handling PSLE preparation. Not necessary must use the same approach. Best to ask the center itself how it manages PSLE preparation. -
RE: Do u have a " Exam time table " at home ?

:goodpost:I personally feel preparing for class and paying attention in class are the best strategies. I have seen students, who use these strategies, do not really have to revise very much for exam and still do well in exam.
But many students do not pay attention in class thinking that they have tuition to fall back on. -

As concerned parents, i think we should be supportive of this challenging path that our dc have chosen.

Maybe just to keep the boys occupied since geppers' SA usually ends earlier.
Think so too. Doubt it is to test the boys. But it will give them an idea how mainstream papers are like.
One poster ever mentioned that she would give her child some mainstream papers to work on when the results were not as good as expected. That helped to bring up the child's morale. Maybe an idea worth trying out.
Jtoh, you might want to ask around about your girl's previous school. Understand that things are also done differently now. -

Looks like it. Maybe I'll have more to share when my girl starts her journey next year. Can compare if there are any differences.
From the few postings here, it appears that your son's school is the exception rather than the norm.Misty Rain:
I have never checked with others as I thought it is a norm. My son told me only after he finished the papers. The results are not taken into account. His class takes the papers in the name of fun.

Are there other schools that are taking mainstream papers yearly aside from your school?Misty Rain:
Yours has been more than 5 years since she took PSLE, right? Mine only in the recent years.
