My DS came back, damned tired and is sleeping now. He said the science teacher was late for 1/2 hr. Thought the teacher would go through the unmarked worksheets. Who knows, DS said it's a \"free-and-easy\" session which children asked any questions and the teacher answered! Now not sure to let DS go to Monday's supplementary class. Felt it's a waste of time...!

My son most of the time would tell me the exam is "ok lah’'. So, it’s like no answer. Even if he told me it’s easy/difficult, it’s also not accurate when he got back his result. So, guess I’m not going to ask him this time

I suppose the invigilator will see that the tagged one is so call \"approved\" hence the similar identical one which is not tagged should be admissable to exam room? Just my guess

But my DS asked his Math teacher who said don't need sticker. Seems that different school has different practice.

I would also like to hear from all mummies if there is any advice to reduce careless mistake. My DS will always use the excuse, either see wrongly or write wrongly!

During germination, oxygen, water & warmth is required.
But his Mindstretcher teacher says that during germination, oxygen is not required. Only when the leaves start then oxygen is required.

Errhhh....now he's confused. Anyone can help confirm?

Oxygen is definitely needed. How come Mindstretcher teaches him the wrong concept!
It is just that sunlight is needed when the first leaves appeared.

I am the main science tutor in my centre and i have been teaching Science for the last 12 years! Such mistake cannot be made! :mad:

During germination, there is no leaves, thus, no stomata is present. Without stomata, how does the seedling undergo respiration?
