      ElasticGirl:
I believe Tanjong Katong Girls School (TKGS) has about 40-50 girls doing MEP , in lower sec, there were split into 2 classes.

Nahh, there are only about 30 mep students in each level...

oops sorry, another question, how about guides?

heard they are not so intensive, so it frees up time for the students.
I don't know much about Girl Guides, but I think that statement is pretty solid šŸ˜‰

Hi arcenciel, I'm not too sure about Interact Club, but Choir has practices on Wed + Fri normally, + Sat for competitions. Choir is also quite strict about attendance. Uniforms can be bought at the school, otherwise you can take a trip down to Bibi & Baba's (there's one at Shaw Center). Hope this is useful šŸ™‚

Sorry Helping--Hand, just returned from school. I don't really know the new principal (it's my first time meeting her!) However I do know that she was a violinist and won some award for teaching. You can google her šŸ™‚
I think the three vice-principals are fine.

      psle sad mum:
The cop is 235. You can download the appeal form from the school website or go down to the school personally. If you are contacted by phone by the end of January 2012, your appeal is successful, if not, sorry šŸ˜ž

      Good Luck! šŸ˜„

hi moltenglass, thank you so much, great to know that my sister will have a senior like you hehe. šŸ˜„

Hahaha thank you thank you *bows* I'm excited to have your sister as a junior too! šŸ™‚ Let me know which class she's in, I'd like to meet her next year šŸ˜„

Hmm... MEP is kinda different from the usual ABRSM stuff. It's theory combined with aural.

The theory test is very simple. The auditions will probably be held in Week 1. Just prepare 2 contrasting pieces of your standard (as I said before), after that, you'll have an interview with the teacher. Just answer confidently, there aren't any right or wrong answers. Best of luck! šŸ˜„ & c'ya in 2 days šŸ˜‰

Sorry to be asking alot of questions.... 🤷
      Thank YOu :rahrah:

The new principal is Mdm Mary Wong. I am seeing her tomorrow for the first time as she just took over in December.
      1. Food and prices are okay, I guess, but we have been asking for vendor changes.
      2. To be honest, TKGSSB might have the most days, they have practices on Mon + Wed during holidays, + Fri during norm, + Sat for competitions.
      3. TKGians wear white shoes, black shoes are for prefects.
      4. Teachers are a mix. I like my teachers pretty much šŸ˜„
      5. Uhmm... I don't know where to start lol.
      You're welcome! šŸ˜‰

Thank You for your fast reply. :salute:
