marmum:Any idea how many are below 1km for Pei Chun?
DaddyUsually the sch website will update that... not sure if all the schs do this though...
Thanks. I found this webpage from MOE site but still like to find out about the breakdown of number of applicants according to distance from school.mom76:
Any idea where to find out the number of applicants for today?
I'm also eager to know. How can we find out the number of applicants within 1km and 1-2km?
marmum:Any idea where to find out the number of applicants for today?
pwee:Really? Does anyone know the breakdown of applicants' distance? I am hoping to get in without balloting while staying within 1-2km.tonypang:only CHIJ Toa Payoh is balloting ...
only for those who live more than 2km away.
dun-wanna-stress-out:This year CHIJ needs balloting within 1 km.... very hot leh!
Hi westmom,
You can try Haden Development Centre. They have qualified ex-national badminton players to conduct training for kids especially in the west. I only know their contact by email:
Hope this helps.
understood. thanks.
Luanee:Really? Calling the school can find out the exact number? If that is the case, does that mean I can do a last minute check, assess my chances between 2 schools before registering under phase 2C?LittleLambie:I read the compilation of past balloting records and it seems that only last year did CHIJ Katong did a balloting for those more than 2km. Anyone can help to confirm this? I am staying more than 2km and wonder how good my chances are in Phase 2C. Anyone has more past data?
Among all CHIJ schools, only CHIJ Katong and CHIJ OLQP conducted balloting for those out of 2km last year for phase 2C. The rest balloted either within 1km or 1-2km. If u want to know the exact number of applicants out of 2km vs places, u have to call up the school to ask as MOE doesnt publish this info. It only publishes total applicants without distance breakdown info.
Mermaid:Not very sure about Kheng Cheng but it is definitely easier to get in than Pei Chun!Hi,
I've read through the thread and found questions of parents asking on Kheng Cheng's performance. However, there no replies. My in laws are staying right in front of Kheng Cheng and by using their address, I presume it will be easier to get into Kheng Cheng than Pei Chun, even though we will still be under phase 2C 1km-2km for both schools.
Does anyone know about Kheng Cheng?
xuanxuanwu:Not sure which part of JW are you staying but heard that Rulang and West Grove Pri are quite good....no need to move[Moderator's note: Topics merged.]
