RE: Henry Park Primary
Understand that At end of P2, students may be offered HMT. Anyone knows how many students get offered HMT for P3? What’s the criteria given that there aren’t exams anymore? How many classes or percentage of students get offered HMT? Trying to understand if it’s the norm to take HMT and if it’s something to aim for. Hard to target when there’s no objective selection criteria…

RE: CHIJ St Nicholas Girls'
Any thoughts on the odds for 2A >2km? Completely 0 chance, ie don’t bother or very poor odds (what % though)? Headache!

RE: Raffles Girls' Primary
And indeed the stats for 2020 was rather out of the norm! It is pretty unpredictable.

Thanks!! That’s v helpful. Those were my observations as well. I am indeed one of those alumni caught by the changes and have to give up alumni school for a “nearby” school unfortunately not near enough but still under 2 Km 😨

Any thoughts on whether 1-2 km will need to ballot under 2C for the 2022 registration? New rules are 😨

RE: Wang Learning Centre 汪老師 - Discussion
Thanks for your reply! I think for P2 at least, there’s only one type of 3 Hour class and there’s no CL/HCL differentiation? My kids will start WLC next year after attending Berries in their preschool years. Hope all goes well! Theyre not In SAP schools and not taking HCL in lower pri so hope the syllabus won’t be too different.

RE: Wang Learning Centre 汪老師 - Discussion
Just to add on a related question: is WLC suitable even if my child is not in a SAP school hence no HCL at lower pri level? Understand that WLC follows MOE Syllabus but is it the normal CL or HCL syllabus at lower pri level?

RE: Wang Learning Centre 汪老師 - Discussion
Is WLC suitable for primary school kids who aren’t doing HCL at lower primary level? Any parents here with kids not doing HCL at lower primary level but attending WLC and what is your experience? Thank you!
