Hi all,
I don’t have high budget, no experience in music and piano. Seriously to me all piano sound and look the same. My girl is going for G1, but I’m not sure how long she is going to play.
I’m considering a brandnew Hailun 125cm, as the Jap brand are too costly and taking a 2nd hand is rather risky as I have no experience at all.
Anyone has any review on HaiLun and if its a good buy?

RE: Comparing Pre-school English Reading and Phonics Enrichment
Dear gurus here,
My boy is turning 5. I did not teach him phonics at home since his CCC teaches. Its until last year in Sept, when i realise his progress to be really slow then I started teaching him some blendings.
For the past 6 months, we covered most blends and vowels, and some sight words. But till now, he is still unable to blend the words even though he can sound all single alphabets. He is unable to remember simple sight words like ‘IS’ , ‘The’, ‘And’ even daily practice. I’ve read some articles that some kids just can’t blend, and i really hope he is not one of them.
I’m started to get very worried now. Recently started phonics prog with a small montessori but no improvement. He is in K1 now, and most of his peers are reading books. Is there any programme that can help me and him ? I’m getting fraustrted and helpless. -
RE: All About Grooming & Encouraging Good Reading Habits
Hi All,
I read this post with interest. I have a 5 yo son, whom can’t read yet. I’m been teaching him phonics and blendings. He is able to sound all single alphabets but not the blends. Is it true some kids just can’t blend ? If yes, any suggestion how to teach them?
I’m getting really fraustrated, as been teaching him for so long, yet he still can’t read at all. I feel so guilty as he can feel my stress as I started screaming at him on several occassions and he is stressed too. I’ve enrolled him with phonics class … not much improvement though.
