Hi all, my girl will be going to KCP in 2013 (am an old girl). Would like to ask for some advice regarding drop off... Would it be better to send her to school in our car or send her to school by the school bus? I've heard that traffic is horrendous for private cars but for school buses, they have access to get into the school and drop the girls off within the school itself.


Anyone can give any advice on this?

Hi! If you are thinking of sending your girl to school, go before 650am n pick her after 135pm inorder to avoid the traffic.

What time must the gals be in school everyday? Besides the one-time orientation, are there other activities that the new P1 gals must attend before the new school term start?

Hi lolli! You are welcome! School starts from 740am, most of the gals will reached by 720am. The P1s only need to be in school on the orientation day.

genie23, you are welcome! You can purchase school uniforms on the every first Thursday of the month except June. 115pm-315pm for parents. If you fetching your gal by car at Martia Road, to avoid the traffic jam, best to come at 140pm Mon to Thurs, 2pm on Fridays as school ends at 140pm.

First of all, Big Welcome to CHIJKCP!


Last year P1 orientation was held in the morning. First you will bring your gal to their respective classroom and leave them there to mingle with new friends. Then parents proceed to the hall to listen to the principal short talk. After the talk registration will start... After registration, go back to the class to meet the form teacher and pay school fees and etc... Bring cash. As for books no worries, you can always order in advance and pick up later. Then bring your gal to buy uniforms and PE tees n shorts.

Lastly, it will be great if you could also join the school Parents Volunteer Group. Your gals will be excited and thrilled to see you in school now and then.

My girl is going to P2 next year and she loves going to CHIJKCP! :rahrah:

Hi hi.. my gal attended playgroup then N1 in United Montessori when we are staying in Bishan. I like the centre cos is not air-conditioned. I think the centre is quite ok compare to others nearby. Contact Maggie the principal or Dennis (hubby of Maggie) to check out the centre.
