I think u will need to make it look like u are living there somehow. Not an empty house or with tenants. But if further away, your kids need to wake up earlier right? The point of home school distance priority is so that the kids can be closer to school. U should at least try to stay there.

In my case, \"There\" means within 1 km. \"Further\" means within 2 km. We own and live in a landed property within 2 km, also own a condo within 1 km. If we continue living in the landed property, and terminate our condo tenant's lease and leave it empty for at least 30 months after the registration of primary school, can that work?

Similarly, can we rent a condo within 1 km of school and only dorp by after school or use the condo unit sporadically while still living in our landed house that is within 2 km?

These locations in question are all within the Bukit Timah and Dunearn stretch. So a distance of 2 km passes by quickly in a moving car, if you are familiar with the traffic there at non-peak hours. A difference of 1 km in distance is almost negligible.

But if u rented it, this is where u will be caught. U need to stay in the rental unit for 30 months.
