Just to share.
My husband used to cough very frequently. In 2005, we bought back a bottle of royal jelly from Taiwan and he took a tea spoon every morning for a few months. Now I hardly hear him cough.

RE: Bi-lingualism at school a mistake ?
I came from a teochew speaking family and I speak Hokkien too. I went to kindergarten and primary without any prior English exposure at .Yet I managed to pass my examination and is able to have a decent conversation in English. My Chinese is much better then English.
We do not have a choice and we dont complain about having to learn English.
I agreed with Insider that when the dialect died, chinese will follow too. -
RE: Yamaha Junior Music Course (JMC) - Discussion
Hi,
My son is currently attending music wonderland at Yamaha. Next year he will be joining JMC. May I know how are the JMC lessons being conducted? Is it similar to music wonderland?
Thank you. -
How to teach children to handle bullies
My son is 4. He was bullied at the playground by another 4 yr old boy. I saw it but I did not interfere. I saw tears in his eyes.
On the way home, I just told him " you must learn to protect yourself".
Any advise from parents will be appreciated. -
RE: Comparing Chinese Enrichment (Primary/Preschool)
After reading this post, I am starting to panic. My son is in nursery now, he speaks to me in Mandarin rather fluently and his kindergarten teacher is from China. However, he can recognised not many words. Some of his classmate are attending either Tien Hsia or berries.
I read both English and Chinese books to him but mostly English. He watches English TV programme and doesn’t like to watch Chinese programme. He is starting to read in English… at the rate he is going, I am afraid he might dislike chinese in the future.
Should I be Kiasu and enrol him in Chinese enrichment classes? Please advise. -
