10 inches height? Those A4 size boxes that Daiso is selling come at the most 5cm for keeping the A4 papers.

So happy with my Mitsubishi after getting rid of the Daikin. It is really quiet that you won’t know if the air-con is turned on or not. Samsung will be the last brand if I ever need to purchase again.

Thankful that I just missed the heavy rain pour at lunch time.

NTUC provides crab killing service. Can request the seafood counter to kill & chop (say 4pcs) for you.

Buy ready made chilli crab sauce from Jumbo. Very nice.

Thanks for informing, didn't know that NTUC provides such service. I always freeze the crabs and then clean them.

I like to go to No signboard @ Geylang for crabs too but the problem is parking.


Lately, just had the hairy crabs @ Capital and they are at Chinatown now.

i didn't think of that restaurant. i love chilli and black pepper crab. must order the man tou each time to dip into the chilli crab gravy.

I like chilli crab gravy, but don't like messing about with the crab itself! Someone should sell the gravy with crabmeat, sans shell.

When I do not want the mess and yet crave for chilli crab, I'll cook chilli crab pasta with frozen crab meat (no choice).

Used to have my classmates coming to my home to play.
Initially we used baby powder to make the board smooth so the striker can travel far.
But there's a lot of dust build up and soon a lot of friction.
It's then we discovered....

and I had the smoothest and best smelling carrom board in the neighbourhood!

But of course mom got :mad: and I got :spank:

ah.... I remember the pledge for the carrom board, especially needed when going to play all night long at the chalet.

I find that in mine and dh family..if have more kids, can see the shorter and taller than average..so haywire genes already. Dh is tall more than 1.8 and his sis is so small size. Unless my mil gave all the good food to dh but no leh the youngest one very sayang also. The girls at my maternal side, yes few at 1.7x

Remind me when I first met MIL - I really got a shock. She is less than 1.5m and DH is about 1.78m. I thought she is not the biological mother.

I was like you in the past. Felt taken advantage and resentful. Now, I just heck care so long I'm NOT the driver. I won't care less if hubby wants to wake up at dawn or come back at midnight ferrying the MIL.

It takes two hands to clap, one to command and the other to obey, I don't care.
