I have a 7 yr girl whom is taking violin at school as CCA. She has recently been asked to take Grade 2 but I am not inclined to have her attend additional violin lessons by the same provider of the CCA.

I am staying at near Upper Paya Lebar and prefer a female teacher for my girl. Appreciate of any recommendations as such. Thank you greatly in advance.

What has been frustrating is that they have yet to deliver item (d). When the delivery was received, I spotted the discrepancy and included in the acknowledgement that the item has not been delivered. They promise to send me, as I rung the office thereafter, but no news at all. Recently I happened to be in Suntec so went personally to the shop. The sales person told me that she recalled the driver saying that the item will be sent by post and that was like a week before Christmas. Still no news yet. I intend to ring them up ago in due course. But the service attitude makes me wonder how strong the warranty would hold out, if I ever need it ....

Reference to the earlier post, just to update that I have since received item (d), which is a book holder. A staff of the company (my wife received him) delivered the item and apologized for the delay. As a form of goodwill gesture, he gave us a book stand. The stand is attached to the table and allow books or other items to be placed on top of it, or beneath. Obviously we are pleased with the kind gesture, which they were not mandated to doing so in the first place.

Went to tiong bahru second floor and bought a deuter purple s sizes bag at 99.90. According to sales auntie (warm up to you if you are chatty and respectful, speaks mandarin better), not much shipment from deuter this year. Given she seems to still have some stocks, am not entirely sure if her comment means availability is affected. Daughter is happy with the bag. Cheers!

Just came back from kid2youth in suntec. They have a promotion with table, chair,bag and a couple of other accessories, at about 1300. I did not want the bag, which costs Sgd 89. Other than deuter branded bag, they allow u to upgrade and pay price difference.


I wanted a deuter bag so asked to buy a chair mat and pay price difference. Initially the sales person said no, as boss said no before and condition is buy 2 sets than can. I insisted and was prepared to walk away. Sales called boss, whom agreed. So 149 chair mat bought at 60.

The deuter bag is not available in s size for the color I wanted. Went to tiong bahru and get it. All in all, productive day.

Btw, delivery available on Saturday from kids2youth. Hope these are useful info. Cheers and have fun.
