      Dr Venter compared his discovery of using cell to grow artificial life with using baking powder to make cake rise. Comment if this is a fair comparison and will there be any implication in his discovery.

      A wall measuring 245cm by 280cm is to be completely covered by square tiles. Find the minimum number of square tiles needed.

      245 = 5 x 7 x 7
      280 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 7

      HCF = 5 x 7
      So the square tile must have side of 5 x 7 = 35cm.

      So the number of tiles needed = 7 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 7 x 8 = 56

      Need HELP!!

      Given that 360 = 2Cube x 3square x 5
      a) the smallest integer, j, such that 360 x j is a perfect square
      b) the smallest integer, k, such that 360 x k is a perfect cube
      Find the j & k

      To get a perfect square, all the power must be even number.
      To get a perfect cube, all the power must be multiple of 3.

      So
      a) j=2 x 5
      b)k=3 x 5square
