As per the handbook, the posting is base on the merit.

If child A agg is 219 and child B is 215
      Child A
      East Spring as 3rd choice

      Child B
      East Spring as 1st choice

Q : Will Child A get to go in 1st rather than Child B ?

      Yes.

So I would safely say that as long as we choose the schools in the 6 choices, MOE will line up with the rest in ascending even if Child A could have place the East Spring as 6th choice, he will hv a better chance than Child B ?
no prob. is risky but wat do u think will be better ? We r thinking of Tampines Sec, East Spring, Damai Sec ?

I am not very familiar with the schools you mentioned, but based on last year's COP for the schools you mentioned, chances of getting into any of them is quite high since your child's T-score is higher than those schools.

      Hi PGID,

Is Damai sec chinese name 德明中学?? if correct, should choose this... As my relatives stay Tampines and comments it not bad, or may b u can get more info from others....
No.... DAMAI SEC is in Bedok reservoir

Hai Sing's COP is closer to your child's but then again, no guarantee that it would drop 5 points. Oops, sorry, just my humble opinion. Hope I am not coming across as being very dampening.

any possibility that the COP be lowered compared to last year ? I hope it does.

Also I dont understand why the cut-off for affiliated schools is so far from those non-affiliated … it isn’t fair.

my son got 219 ... do u think can get into St Hildas ?

Don't mean to be a damper, but 219 is quite far from St Hilda's non-affilated COP of 227.

any possibility that the COP be lowered since the highest score is 282 ?
