NUS High already started. How about the other schools?

Many schools' websites no news/update yet.

NYGH is already out this morning ...
Php your dd also in NY? Glad to know that she is coping well. I really find that it is not easy to manage sport cca and acad as both are so demanding in NY, well done šŸ˜„

yes, she is in NYGH but she is not in Sport but Club. As we have an agreement with the school to use our own trainer, she still has to attend 2 days/week CCA time in school. Then she has to attend our own exterior lessons for at least 1/2 times per week. But compared to Sport, definitely she doesn't spend as much time in it and it is also less demanding becos she doesn't need to use too much energy...lol....

@ Php.. Your DD is also ē™½ē™½ēš„怂

My niece is in NYGH year-1 too. She joined via DSA Academics. She is taking 3rd Language, so she is extremely busy but very happy. šŸ˜„

      @ Song..

Are there any Poke Stops @ HCI and NYGH ? There are more than 10 Poke Stops and a Poke Gym @ RI. šŸ˜“
iFirefly, my dd is also very happy too....now school starts at 8.15am, lagi happy....

      Congrats iRabbit and iRabbit junior....

Thanks bro! Btw, how's your dd coping in IP?

She is coping well there....initially she was a bit worried but after having perform better than those who came in via the academic route, it boost her confidence....she did it without any tuition except for HCL and i totally let her manage her study and schedule....a vast difference as compared to primary school life....still likes and loves her CCA and is extremely happy as she continues to bring glories to her school....Just hope that she continues in this direction for next few years....

Thanks CS & Song for remembering labbit junior. šŸ˜„

Personally, I'm very happy for ds to attend any of the 3 schs he DSA. He's Math and Sci centric, and all 3 schs have excellent resources dedicated to these 2 areas.

As far as PSLE is concerned, it's a relief to get a CO. Labbit j is into the consolidation phase now, no more acquisition of new knowledge. So he's actually more relaxed than in T1&2 whereby he had to rush projects, catch up on h/w, and go for twice-weekly supplementary classes plus CCA.

I noticed the workload just fall off the cliff in T3. :boogie:
      Congrats iRabbit and iRabbit junior....

My daughter already gave up hope for NYGH. She also stopped talking about going NYGH. I have checked the status, still pending. Just wondering when will they change the status?
One update when they inform the applicant regarding the interview date and another update during the last week of Aug when they inform the applicant regarding the final status of the application.

Me too. We have given up hope. Still have other schools.

Has NYGH informed successful applicants already? :?
Not so early... Last week of Aug....Successful applicants will need to attend a briefing and to collect the COs letter.

It could be that MOE is pushing schools to finish up quickly so that everything is done well in advance of the PSLE orals and the prelim written papers. It's very tough on the children to cope with it all at the same time.

I am crossing my fingers that we receive the results of my daughter's interview next week so that if it is bad news she will have time to bounce back before the oral exams and Prelims. If it comes tomorrow, before her prelim oral and it's bad news I will hide it until afterwards!
But the schools will probably release the COs after PSLE Oral....during last week of Aug...
