My son is currently in PSLE. We are Singapore Citizens. He is currently not doing well academically. I want to move him to International School in Secondary. I understand that we require MOE approval for this purpose. Is it possible to get approval? Any parents who have moved their kids to International school in Secondary and can share the experience.

6 pts can go to “higher” jc too eg vjc, Njc ?

Our First choice is VJC. For Second choice we are confused between TJC or Nanyang JC. We stay in Bedok. TJC is just next door.

No one knows if COP will increase or decrease but when I analysed last 5 yr data , I noted that in 88%-90% of the case the variation was with in +/- 3 points across all schools in singapore As we are expecting rise this year the number of cases where rise was more than 3 points is given below

2012-9
2013-2
2014-7.
So i think if you are with in 3 points you are safe.my 2 cents advice

Can I ask a basic question. The COP of 239 means that students with score of 239 will get admission of only greater than 239 will get admission

Does SJI(O level) has science subjects Physics chemistry and Biology. The secondary school booklet that my son got does not mebtion any science subjects

This expected high COP this year is giving me stress. My DS get 238. I live in east . Looking for Tanjong Kating secondary. Last year cut off was 231 and previous yr 236.
