      what is ____ * 21?

      3)A bottle of syrup was 3/4 full. After chan used 100ml of syrup from the bottle, it became 5/12 full. What was the capacity of the bottle?

      Pl explain me in detail how to do this questions?

      1) At a funfair, there were 1/3 as many boys as girls and 2/5 as many adults as children. If there were 24 more adults than boys at the funfair, find the total number of people at the funfair.


      2) Inside a bag, there were 3/5 as many red alls as blue balls and 2/3 as many green balls as blue balls. Given that there were 8 more green balls than red balls, how many balls were there in the bag altogether.

      2) There were 245 comic books on sale at a book fair. James sold 3/5 of the books and packed the remaining books into sets of 6. How many sets of comic books did he manage to pack?

      The answer is 98. But pl explain in detail how to derive it.

      1) Devi has a bale of cloth measuring 96m. She used 1/3 of the cloth on saturday and 1/4 of the same cloth on sunday. How much cloth did she use on both days?


      The answer is 56m. Can somebody explain this to me.

      2)Tan bought a sack of rice on monday and cooked 1 1/2kg of the rice everyday. By sunday, he was 1/2kg short of rice. On which day did she cook 3/5 of the rice in the sack?

      The answer is "On Thurday". I dont know to solve it. Pl help me.
