Update on latest O level performance.
Class of 2017 results:
- % of students with 5 or more subject passes : 99.2%
- % of students with 5 or more distinctions : 56.8%
- % of students with 7 or more distinctions : 23.7%
- Eligibility to JC/Poly/PU : 100%

Quick update - Very good results for 2016 O level students.


21.2% students got 7 distinctions.
48.9% of students got 5 distinctions.
100% passes and all eligible for JC/Pre U/Poly.

Saw some enquiries on TKGS past O level results.
Below is a link to their 2015 results.
Very good and consistent performance.
>50% of girls had 5 distinctions or more. Close to 30% had 7 distinctions or more.
All are eligible for JC/Poly.

In my opinion, it is a value added school that has produced consistently good results.
The students going in were not top scorers, but the O level results are on par or even better than some top schools with O level track.

Am currently torn between selecting Lcentral or Learning point English for my daughter who is going to P1 next yr. I see that Lcentral emphasizes a lot on comprehension n vocab but lesser on grammar. Can anyone feedback on learning point? What does the program concentrate on?
Daughter is currently on reading program with Lcentral and doing well…so not sure whether to change or not…

My 4yo girl has been with ICR for 9 mths. She is placed in Thinking n creative skills class. She still cant figure out all the phonics so I am worried the program is going too slow…or she is not concentrating?? if I continue her , when will she be able to read simple words ?
I am thinking of switching her out but many seems to find the ICR program good, so I am stuck. Any advice?

Does anyone has feedback on Mindstretcher tampines English classes for P2?
I called last week and was told there is no high achiever class only achiever class available in this centre for P2.
does it mean they do not have the teacher capable of teaching at a higher level or not enough students? cos if its the former, then the standard will be lower right?
Anyone has kids in the high achiever class? Is the teaching method different or just the materials used or what?
