RE: Preparing For O-Levels
karenmok:
If they continue with poor scores, it means that their studying techniques are wrong. With the right techniques and coaching, any student can perform to their best abilities for any exams.Hi,
Some kids repeat o-levels while others continue even with poor scores.
What are the benefits of repeating the o-level and which type of students do this?
Thanks, Karen
O level syllabus is fairly manageable to any student. It is the understanding and application process that may be taught differently by different tutors/teachers. All concepts can be simplified for easy understanding.
Feel free to pm me if you need further advice.

Thanks all for the advise! Yes, it is abit worrying as i thought it might be too early to stress her. I saw alot of headstart programmes from learning centers. I should perhaps start sourcing around. She is a little weak in her English... any recommendation?
Starting early is to keep stress at bay. Having tuition is not meant to be stressful. If tuition is stressing your child, it is not suitable for ur child. Look again. Learning is meant to be a pleasant and enriching experience. I ensure that my students have an enjoyable lesson and they look forward to my lesson every week. If the lesson is dreadful, it will be ineffective. Who wants something that is dreadful?
It takes a long time to find a suitable center or tutor so finding early helps. When it’s too last minute, that’s when the stress starts.
Many students are preparing for next year’s O level during the holidays. It is nothing unusual for preparation to start early.

Got to be patient when trying to sell or rent any property. Buyers are spoilt for choice.
