There is nothing wrong with Mindef and biggest culprit is none other than MOE for creating a generation of exam-smart dudes who can only ACE in theory-based exams but unable to handle real life situations.


What is so difficult to handle unreasonable commanders?! We are talking about 19-20 year old young men, not 9 or 10 year old boys. Getting bullied in army and do not know how to react?! Now I know the root cause of the issues. We have GEP prep class, DSA prep class but no Army prep class. This is why our boys can’t even handle the so-call “tekan”, can’t run and easily collapse under the sun. Maybe atas tuition centre will soon offer pre-army enrichment classes. Keep a lookout!

The boys are too fragile and overly pampered! Maybe Mindef should allow their maid, Mother or Granny to serve NS for them instead?

If parents are so worried, just get the boys downgraded to PES-C or PES-E. Aren’t many exploring this “option” these days?!
