Hello, my girl is in sec 1 this year too. I would also like to have the link as I don't think PLMGSS has posted yesterday's results on their website. It's very encouraging to read about students who did not do well in their PSLE but did extremely well in the O level. So we should be optimistic as long as our girls put in their best effort in school

- called PLMGS primary school twice this morning, 10.30 am.

admin confirmed primary school no open house - only got P1 orientation on 19 November. They claim that it is the Secondary school side that has open house. tel: 6286-2795

you may call up to inquire.

- so called PLMGS Secondary school, to confirm what primary section had said. admin here claim that it is the primary school that has open house. She checked her Secondary school calendar and confirm no open house. tel: 6281-6606 The lady on the phone claim that it was the primary school that has the open house.

so now, i'm getting confused .... because in July when i wrote into Secondary school to inquire, the reply came back in black and white was ... got open house, on 22 / 10 /2011 .
maybe you can try calling.

Hi phtthp, i did call the sec school before posting. If what they mentioned during the dsa open hse in May is true, ie 10% dsa enrolment are for non-affiliated students and the remaining 90% enrolment via S1 posting will normally go to their affiliated pri students, then no point having an open hse during the yr end i suppose.

Hi nadya04, what brand of dry milk did u use? I couldnt find any in the 'baking' section of the supermarket so just used normal powdered milk for my first loaf with Z machine yesterday. Turns out ok but just wondering if there is any difference with other milk

You may try Mindlab in Far East Shopping Centre. They can start a class of 4 if you can get yr child's school/classmates to join which is cheaper. They will go according to yr school's syllabus.
