    • RE: O-Level Additional Math

Hi, can anyone pls help with this sec1 Qn:

      1) Sarah starts to jog along a stretch of road lined with trees and lamp posts at a pace of 15000 cm per min. She starts at the point where a tree is directly in front of a lamp post. The distance between every 2 trees and every 2 lamp posts is 504 cm and 700 cm respectively. How long will Sarah next jog pass a tree where it is directly in front of a lamp post?

      2) choose 3 digits and make a 6 digit number by repeating the 3 digits in the same order (e.g 123123). The number formed will always be divisible by 7, 11 and 13 (try it out).
      I) explain why
Ii) what are the other factors of any such number formed? Thks

    • RE: Dunman High School (Junior High)

Hi, Met some parents who are deciding the sec 1 school for next year. A few shared that their children who are in dhs felt that the standard at higher level ie JC1n JC 2 equivalent has dropped or not comparable to perhaps what they are expecting of DHS (e.g lack of good teachers) though a few felt that the std at lower level is ok.

Do parents with children in higher levels have any feedbk? Thks.

    • RE: Dunman High School (Junior High)

      Hi,

I recently logged on to the DHS LMS portal using the ID given to parents and it looks that it is not very active nor updated...Can I check if there's any portal which DHS uses to update students and parents on the school's activities / important messages etc. or the LMS is the only portal for parents? I do get the school's (hardcopy) circulars from time to time and was wondering if I have missed out on anything else. 🤷

      Thanks 😂

Hi, can anyone pls help with this question:

Abdul, Bernard and Chi Hao were all standing in a straight line waiting for the race to start. Chi Hao was 300 m ahead of Bernard and Bernard was 100m ahead of Abdul. At 9 a.m, they started the race. Abdul overtook Bernard in 5 mins. In another 5 mins, Adbul overtook Chi Hao. If Bernard's speed is 150 m/min, at what time did Bernard overtake Chi Hao?

      thank you!

      Hi RelaxedMum,
