So does NUSH school bookshop sell does exam papers? But i can't go on 22nd December as my DD3 has a performance on that day. Does anyone know where to buy does exam papers beside the school bookshop? Anyway a little out of topic, anyone knows about Victoria IP and Temasek IP too? Maybe my daughter would apply for that too.

我周末去了NUSH的一位学生家取经，NUSH的S1的物理，化学，生物是各自分开的，不是合并在一起的，她们孩子是今年的物理奥林匹克和化学奥林匹克双料冠军，当年PSLE282分，从他们家拿到了物理的textbooks和workbooks，这样中学1/2年级的物理整套的教科书，参考书，以及习题本很齐全了，一套textbook是中1和中2合并用的，they use one combined textbook for their year 1 and year 2，这话就是在这样的情况下出来的。可惜的是生物，化学，数学的textbooks和workbooks都刚送人了！论坛里面有没有S2/S3的孩子，可以把化学和生物的textbooks和workbooks借给我们吗？

NUSH在S1时候，数学，物理，化学，生物这四课，就学完Secondary Express的S1/S2内容，然后在S2就学完O level的内容，是很超前学习的。restless妈妈的小女儿如果跟着学校的进度，自己在课外可能需要赶进度提前学习了。我这里还保存着2010年和2011年在S2阶段DSA的两位学生家长的一点经验和教训，明年你小女如果去DSA，我发给你参考。

Thank you very very much for this information. But from Year 1 the subject they learn is different from the mainstream secondary school so will there be any gaps. I'm afraid my girl can't cope well. Maybe i should contact them.

Hi all, my younger daughter just join the ballet grade 1 but i was told that they were supposed to have long hair and tie a ballet bun during class but we prefer short hair. Every single time we bring her to the hairdresser she would cry and wail loudly until the whole shop could hear her, i have no opinion about the hair length but my mother-in-law insisted on short hair…haiz…Btw she is 4 this year, girls in her school are more vain and almost all tend to have longer hair maybe also one of the reason she don’t want. Now her hair passes shoulder length again, mother-in-law starts to nag again, Anyone got suggestion?

Maybe u can borrow the textbooks from current NUSH S2/S3 students （as they use one combined textbook for their year 1 and year 2）, and ask their guides to buy what kind of assessment books for your younger daughter to practice.

Hi, my daughter who scored 220-230 for PSLE would like to try to get into NUSH next year(2012) which she will be sec2 and apply for admission in year3. She has great interest in Math and Science is there any possiblities to get in?

My daughter is currently sec 1. Will Temasek be easier to get in?
