50% in stocks and shares
40% as downpayment for private property.

The above are just ball-park figures. However, the idea is there.

If the money is sitting in the bank generating negligible interest, suggest repay as much as possible.

Only for citizens, perhaps that is what they really should do... but only for small cars or MPVs.
So, if anyone wants a waiver of COE, have 3 children!
That, will be one of the more positive moves to end the falling fertility rate.

The above could be the wish of many parents and parents-to-be. However, given our government's profit at all cost mentality, that is unlikely to happen.

I do not trust my my wife, or anyone totally as humans are sinful and imperfect in nature. However I commit myself totally to the marriage and do not leave any backdoors e.g. keeping assets secret.

I had mine, which ran for 6 sessions covering the various aspects of marriage. It was useful. The key thing I learned was that it takes lots of commitment to have a successful marriage. The challenges faced by every couple can be pretty different was well.
