My DS,P6 did a trial at the Marine Parade branch recently. DS was so motivated after the lesson and tried all the supplement questions given that same night! My DS is above average, he find the Q challenging and the lesson interesting. Will be signing him up.


Briefly, as I can comprehend, the worksheet is very systematic. they compile similar concepts in the same paper to teach. The programme manager explain that they will focus on 4 concepts in detail per lesson. Each lesson is 2 hours. there is 16 questions in one lesson. All problem sums.

Is there referral discount or benefits?

This is just my personal experience. I feel multiplication learnt through memorising or singing a song or rhyme is probably a quick and faster way of getting the multiplication into the child memory. The downside is I have seen a child when asked, what is 7X8, they will need to sing a rhyme or chant a timestable list, 1X8, 2X8 until he reaches 7X8 to get the answer!

I use to teach my DS fraction concept using playdoh. Pretty fun way to learn. I let him cut into equal pieces. If three equal pieces, it will be 1 third each. two equal pieces, half each, and so forth. I also try to link that with division.


But to teach more complex fraction operations it will be more challenging to make it fun.
