I went there last year when it was not opened yet. I find it is nothing to shout about especially the beach. Unless you want to getaway from the city's busy life, then it is worth considering.
If you are coming here, consider going to Tanjung Sepat. Many tourists for there for food (seafood, famous pau, etc), mushroom farm... It is a village town where you can still spot old-fashioned wooden houses. For me, it gives me a nostalgic feeling.

Another awesome website is wego.com. It will compare a few travel sites and pull out the best rates for you.
Hubby told me to use wotif.com and not direct hotel booking, says it is cheaper at Wotif. I dun understand how it can be cheaper. Any catch?

We will be there for 5 Days 4 Nights. 5 adults 1 kid. Will spend a day in Disneyland and another at Ocean Park. 1 of the day we plan to visit an island, I think is Lautau Island. For the SEAFOOD!!!!
Guess got limited time for shopping. And since its our first family trip with my mom and gal, wan to make sure I have proper planning so that all of us will enjoy the get to gather!!!
Any other food or places you will recommend? I am a bit worry about the weather too. My 4yp gal has sensitive nose. Am worry if the weather in mid Dec will be ok for her.
As for food, you must not miss the roast goose. We tried at the famous Yung Kee Restaurant on Wellington St in Central. Be prepared to wait if you don't have a reservation. My daughter enjoyed the roast goose very much.

RE: Travel: Malaysia - Bukit Tinggi
If you want to go to Bukit Tinggi, make it a day trip. There is not much to do there too. You might as well go to Genting and make Bukit Tinggi as part of your itinerary.

RE: All About Travelling Pregnant Or With Kids
Bring her favorite toys. If she can color, bring along colored pencils and paper.
Before the trip, tell your baby what is like to be on the plane. Make sure no surprises for her - at lest she is mentally prepared.
Also let the airline know you need extra seat belt for your child.
Having said that, if the trip is optional, I will advise you not to travel as your child is too young to travel long distance.

Been to Melbourne about a year ago. We DIY. We rented a car there. For Melbourne CBD, we took the train. My kids were having a lot of fun.
Besides, Puffing Billy and penguins in Philip Island, we took a trip to Great Ocean Road right to Warnambool. Of course, the main attraction of GOR is Twelve Apostles.
