I saw this lady in her 30s, carrying a MCM bag giving out tuition flyers around Compasspoint recently. Not sure if she's still there these days. Over heard her mentioning to another lady that she is teaching at rivervale area? I got a flyer from her, if any parent is keen to find out more, I can PM you her contact.

I m not sure if we r talking about the same person but i don really see anyone outside Rivervale area giving flyers during my visit to my sister's place.

My sis enrolled my niece p3 with the lady and my niece was complaining about the teacher just within 1-2 lessons. Saying it's boring and she is doing work that is too easy for her. After checking the work done, realise she is doing pri 2 work which is way too absurd. So my sister pull my niece out

this dear son thought he can handle his parents...when he picked them up one sunday noon and drove them to his place, i was pretty convinced they will not stay for more than 1 month...because he will control their smoking and drinking vices...now, it's back to square 1. he even said he wants to make sure they eat well...but his folks do not give a damn about nutrition...all they want is drink and smoke.

No wonder. Sometimes its really difficult la.

after 3 days, FIL quietly sneaked home on the pretext of taking something. then i just heard MIL insisted on going home too...all in all, 1.5 weeks ONLY.

they refused to curb their smoking and drinking habits...and refuse to be controlled by own son.
WHY wouldnt they quit when its for their own good?

Hubby's brother took his folks in. I just heard from hubby his brother has a maid...so thought they get to eat a decent home cooked meal...only to hear that they do not want to eat but just smoke and drink :stupid:

In a way, it's good they show their true colors fast and not act demure.

We all have own flat...the 3 room is the only asset his folks have. Their hopeless daughter is eyeing it like a vulture. If this brother can look after his folks all the way, it is only right he gets to keep the parents' flat. It's perfectly ok with me.

The problem is if the old ones do not have any will, then after they pass on it will be distributed among the siblings... How to resolve this issue? Sigh facing this kind of problem also whereby one contributes more than the other

This is tricky. Sometimes we also cannot ask them to go and do a will, they will think that we are waiting for them to distribute their assets or waiting for them to die so we can take their assets.

Hi I was wandering how frequently do your kids write? I heard from my son that the school only sets compo assignments once a month, which I think isn't enough at all.

For my DSS school, same thing. Usually they write more for their tuition work as they are attending creative writing. They write about 2-3 essays/compo per month.
