I think i don't mind to try, since they combined both Maths and English together and I don't have to go for a separate workshop.

I think preparatory class or workshop are necessary, i think i will attend a workshop with my son this coming Jan 17. They have expert educators from MOE to address key difference between primary school and secondary school syllabus.
