I don't think so. I feel only application is centralised. CO should be through schools. No need via MOE

Isn't the selection also centralised? CO/WLs are all in the system, and we submit through the system in the end. But I do think its likely unknown to the other schools.

I really wonder how much balloting will this new structure result. Problem is that this is ‘High Stake’ balloting, where the losers will end up pretty much having to move to the next level in terms of COP, unless its is known which school will ballot at 1st choice, which school at 2nd choice, etc and put in their choices accordingly. How will we know the number of slots left at the COP and the number of applicants vying for it? In similar balloting structure for P1 registration exercise, which we all know is very stressful, these information are KNOWN and everyone goes into it with their eyes open. In the case of the new PSLE system, these will be unknown, as its only known to MOE after everyone has submitted it.

If you and your child are unable to register at their posted secondary school, nominate another adult to do so using this proxy form.

Some schools allow for alternative arrangements without the need of a proxy. But most likely you will need one as your return is 30th Dec. Do call the school admin office to check.
