However when I mentioned CCHY to my friends, all commented CCH (Main) is good but not CCHY. Not sure why.

Hm cchm is better because first of all it’s sap (which means can use the hmt points), Chinese culture appreciation programme is offered, and the school only takes in chinese or students who take chinese as their mother tongue. Note: cchy isnt sap. The mep programme offered by cchm is comparable to many other schools. Cchm also has more ccas (like track, netball, table tennis etc). Lastly: cchm is pure express (no na and nt) so i guess the lessons conducted will at a faster pace. However cchy has a pretty high distinction rate too, 99% of cohort are eligible for jc and 100% for poly (im not too sure about cchm though) both are affliated to nyjc so i guess its a safety net to fall back on during o levels.

Thx phtthp once again umm regarding the other questions, as i only went to rgs open hse and frm i heard abt cedar, i found the two schools quite similar and and i thought that st nicks wld prob be quite similar when my parents told me to put it as my choice but it wasnt until i went for the 1st reporting day for st nicks that i realise that d atmosphere, culture and everything was totally diff. Dats when i appealed for rgs n cedar, thinking that ill definitely get in. However i only found out 2 days ago that there was no vacancies. Thats when i contacted st nicks to ask for a change frm ip to o lvl. But she said i could not do that. So im hoping that i can transfer to rgs for yr 3. Im seeing it as i have a better chance of getting in if im in ip track as rgs is a pure ip sch. Guess i have to study hard for the nxt 2 yrs!

May i know how to transfer at sec 1? I was posted to SNGS ip track and i totally hate it. I appealed for both cedar and rgs but both rejected me. Is there any way for me to transfer to either? I looked up rgs website and i tink the only time to transfer is for sec 2's... cedar didnt provide much useful information. Pls help me... i rly rly rly cant stand sngs

I saw a user comment on the SNGS thread that her daughter transferred from cedar to SNGS( pg 129) so doesn’t that mean there will be a vacancy?
