hi ShanNi,
you are welcome.
as primary school is 6 years long, settle one kid at a time. although your younger one is a boy and many parents would prefer to register co-ed to save the trouble later, i personally prefer affiliation.
my son was in a SAP primary school which is also co-ed. i am a former IJ TP girl. between phase 1 and 2A, hubby and i decided on phase 2A ie IJ TP for daughter...it is definitely more holistic and less stressful. daughter is in sec 1 tis year.
personally I would go for affiliation.
since you enjoy 2B, go for it because your daughter is also born in a hot year. at least you know she has secured a place and there is affiliation as well.

Personally, I would go for affiliation too. You can also try to find another school with affiliation for your son.

it's not just dragon year madness, but affiliation does matter at p6. although AL grading might somehow affect the COP, having an affiliated secondary school reduces the stress. it is a safety net. if the child does very well, she can still go back to affiliated secondary top class or another school.
settle the primary school for daughter first and have a peace of mind.
Thank you canuckmum.

Yeah i feel like sandwich. Both have positive & negative.

Kellock can save her hopefully til sec.
While RMPS can save her brother.

But to other school you mentioned as above even more further.
I will choose those no balloting, as i have bad experience when i registered my eldest son few y ago.

Thank you dear, seems like I have to save my children one-by-one.

Is the younger boy born in a hot year? If not, you can register your daughter in CHIJ kellock since there is affiliation and you get to enjoy 2B. Why not think of registering one child at a time? Of course some parents would want to save the trouble of going for a co-ed school to kill 2 birds.
