Why worry so fast? Follow the mother instinct. If it tells you nothing is wrong then nothing is wrong. Maybe you son could be high IQ.

Shoe:Sharing a link I found online...http://www.childcarelink.gov.sg/ccls/uploads/Statistics_on_child_care%28STENT%29.pdfShows that childcare fees increased abt 200 bucks since 2006 from $680-878 but it seems fees will increase even further this year, judging from what parents are saying... Need more subsidy! Our salaries not increasing fast enough with increasing prices of everything!Unfortunately, I am afraid that any govt childcare subsidy will only result in higher childcare fees unless the subsidies come with some form of govt regulation to prevent Childcare service providers from taking advantage and raising fees in tandem.

Sun_2010:Sun_2010: Feedback from other parents serve as a very good guide, Janet_Lee88 is like the inhouse resident. :celebrate: Thank you Janet for not only checking out so many books and most importantly sharing it in this forum.I will have to go thru reco soon when DS starts needing them. For Primary school , things are changing by the year, so what i used for DD may not be relevant . So :thankyou:No lah...don't call me inhouse resident  ...just sharing my thoughts and experience using different assessment books. Agree with what you mentioned about ever-changing syllabus. What I bought for son when he was in lower primary doesn't seem to be applicable to my gal who's in P1. The one inhouse resident is plum-cake. She has provided me with tips on different publishers and what to look out for.

Dear all, Would like to share this place with you. It's a little casual eatery at Telok Kurau. Pet-friendly and kid friendly cafe.. Pretty nice food with generous portions and NO TAXES :). I like the vibe of the cafe and also love and interesting take on some of the food... Food tastes like wholesome homemade fare. Probably not something you'd travel all the way to Telok Kurau for but place is great to hang out in... Would imagine this place to be great for Sunday brunch or something like that. BTW... it's not a vegetarian place... My hubby thought it was and didn't want to go
