Funz:Why would abstinence be impractical? As a parent dealing with a child who is on the verge of pubity, I preach abstinence. I cannot imagine telling my 9yr old kid or even 14/15yr old kid that if they feel the need to have sex just make sure proper precautions are taken. And just because we say practise abstinence does not have to mean sex is unnatural or something scary. On the contrary, it is something very intimate and natural. And it can be ever more so meaningful when we wait to experience it with the person whom we are sure we want to share our live with. If MOE's sexuality programme teaches otherwise, I will opt out of it.Completely agree with you. I don't think the blogger who orginally put up that post has got any school-going kids, and is just mouthing off. I personally don't put any weight on that opinion.

Should ban unnecessary enrichment classes…these resources just adds to the stress level of kids and make the standard more and more difficult as parents try to outdo one another and teacher set more difficult questions to differentiate the levels and end up a vicious cycle…

      chenwj:UncleLim:
Perhaps a \"Council of Hygiene Professionals\". The CEO will be chaired by an ex-SAF general. And don't forget the ex-General will bring along his ex-Colonels who will bring along his ex-Majors and ex-Captains. All one big family. :evil:UncleLim, we are right. They are going to have a new Stat board for cleaning services! See this:http://www.straitstimes.com/BreakingNews/Singapore/Story/STIStory_797641.html
It said on Thursday that it is studying if a single agency can manage the cleaning services of all existing hawker centres. Such a move would help ensure a high, consistent cleanliness standard in hawker centres across the country, it said

WE ARE PROPHETS !!!!! :rotflmao: Actually... the bureaucrats are becoming so predictable, running our society using template solutions.
