And the rejected ones ( unsuccessful applicant) through snail post is't? Is that a DSA norm

Tot schools only write shortlisted letters? Do they also write rejection letters? And so fast?

Generally for DSA , the school will send you an official letter even if it is unsuccessful.
For SOTA we need to login in to their website to check for the results.

I have not even start the DSA process except register the gat test. Didn't know the shortlisting process is so fast. What are schools are you applying?

SOTA is different from others, the registeration opened in April, closed in may. We need to login in to their website to check for the results.
For other schools, it just started. Unfortunately, my DD didn't meet the expected results in SA one, quite frustrated. But again as a growing parent, I am learning a lesson, that my DD is blooming slowly, by pushing and giving pressure ...no use of it
By applying for DSA, a child can have an exposure, how hard the system is and how difficult to get in to desired school.

Those who are trying for sports DSA.
Kindly think twice. It has pros and cons.
Sports will be very tiring and exhausting, esp for DSA students, you need to attend thrice a week, your kid will be back home only after 7pm. After coming, they need to do their HW, prepare for the next day. They’ll literally Collapse at the end of the day. Esp. Nowadays the hot weather, their energy level goes down!
On the other hand, people do say…it gives a good foundation for boys in preparing them for NS. So, discuss with your child before proceeding, remember, life of dsa sport student at secondary level will be more challenging!
