Hi All, wondering if anyone had any experiences with the MS at Anchorvale CC, Sengkang? I am considering both English and Mathematics classes for my P3 gal. Thanks for any advice.

RE: Nan Chiau Primary
Hi parents,
I am just wondering if your kids attend Chinese lessons conducted outside NCPS, like tien hsia, etc? Cos the sign up for next year’s places for some centres are usually ard Oct so wanted to check out some centres first before deciding if need to put my DDs going P1 next year. If possible, might sign up to go for this year’s last term (some start in Sep) for her to start earlier.
Appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance. -
RE: Nan Chiau Primary
Hi Mummsy so kiasu,
I called and was told that most likely after second half of the year will be single session so first half still afternoon session for P1. As for plans for in house student care, there are no plans yet. I thought I saw some presentation slides on their upgrading works and only recall seeing additional classrooms and teacher area and 2 more foodstalls, etc, dont think there was anything mentioned on in-house student care centre. Keeping my fingers crossed they will provide cos its so much more convenient and better for the children to be within the same premises. -

Oh great, hope to meet you at the orientation then. Thanks for pointing out the names. Wasnt active on such forums if not for my DDs P1 exercise this year so didnt realise it. Guess I will be on the forum more frequent in months to come.It is indeed a great relief for me and now I can truly enjoy my PH on thurs!

RE: Nan Chiau Primary
Hi Orange Belt,
There are 180 SCs staying within 1 km (including pair of twins) balloting in the exercise. I was quite shocked as I expected some staying more than 1 km might try but parents are getting wiser to know that its almost impossible to get in. So out of 179 balls, 59 are picked. There wasnt any big hurray or reaction from those who balloted in (including myself as I went alone). My DDs childcare fren’s dad was there too and didnt get in even though he stayed 2 blks away. Rather disappointed but luckily springdale is nearby too so that one is going to be a popular choice for those who didnt get NCPS. I must say its quite an experience for me. -

Thanks, blue belt and brown belt for your info. I called operator and she say there is a route for pasir ris. Confirmed with school that there is no in house student care centre.
Can I check if there are CCA for P1s so far? -
RE: Nan Chiau Primary
Hi parents of nan chiau pri students, my gal finally got into Nan Chiau Pri school after the balloting this morning. After the anxiety and excitement and happiness, next comes task of getting student care centres and school bus. Both Polaris Junior and Morning star are full. Can anyone share the bus operator contact so I can explore bus ferrying to and fro pasir ris to my parents in law’s hse? Much appreciated in advance.

RE: 2012 P1 Registration Exercise for 2013 In-Take
Hi blackbelt,
Congrats to you! My gal also managed to get into NCPS from this morning's ballot. It was quite a nerve wrecking experience. I could never really appreciated the anxiety of those who had this experience before us until now. Just to let you know I share your joy in this as well!
