Although there is an increase in school bus fares, school bus operator failed to communicate a "significant" change upfront. In the past, the monthly fee was collected on 12 months basis, pay 2 months’ fees in Jan and Oct for Jun and Dec payment. Now it’s collected 10 months, no payment for Jun and Dec, hence the increase on a monthly basis was much higher compared to 2015 fees. But after annualized it, the increase is 20% for mini van. Switched to bigger bus this year since we just need after school service.

Hi my girl is currently in P3 and she goes to Morning Star Hougang after school. She’s been there since P1 and so far it’s been ok. It’s the first drop off point as she’s taking school bus.

My gal is now P2. When she was in P1 and new to CHIJOLN her form teacher has repeatedly reminded the gals that no one should borrow or lend money to each other. If anyone forgets her pocket money she should approach teacher or admin office. The teacher also reminded the class not to waste money buying unnecessary things from bookshop. I believe this should be a consistent practice in CHIJOLN.

Yes, buddies will be assigned to P1. On the first day there’s a talk organized for parents and we can observed how the girls guided by seniors in P4 to buy snacks during recess and bringing them around the campus eg library etc.
