To reddiechan, you are lucky to have a child who can fall asleep anytime/soon. Some active children just needs longer time to fall asleep despite having good sleep routine. By the way, children at their age needs bt 10 hours of sleep.

To idealist, you may want to know this website is also monitered by the school. They will answer your queries where necessary. Although I hate Wed timing, I didn't 'dare' ask for a change because before we enrol our child, we already knew they have such a system.

Like all schools, this school also has good and mediocre staff. At least the student mix is not a bad lot.

Thanks. i suppose if the school could strongly improve its work/life balance for teachers, they could do better for a young child.
Well, i do think the website is also monitored by the ministry (MOE) for sentiment of parents towards day to day activities. Who knows?

What do you want to know? You can PM me or post here. I live there for 5 years and just got back a couple of years ago. I'm 90% sure things do not change much. That's the way it is there. My kids grew up and attended the schools there.

When is a good transfer age to Victoria education system?
Any schools to recommend which offer Chinese language also?
I be going in as Foreigner status first.

Just came back from overseas and saw this session with the principal. I think we could take this opportunity to raise the change the CCA from Wednesday to Friday. Hopefully the timimng is right.

Dear all 2012 P1 & P2 parents,
we hope to have your support for the change for Wednesday's morning classes to be shifted to Friday.
1. Long weekend for anyone considering a short trip out of Singapore.
2. Malay pupils can go off earlier as it is Friday.
3. No logistical nightmare in the middle of the week..

We just need proposer & seconder for P1 2011 intake preferably old boys/girls. We hope to gather a team of 10 or more other signatures split between p1 & p2 parents. Submit to principal, cc moe & school advisory committee. By the time the issue get ding dong around due to chain of command, 5 months should be enough to put this localised issue thru. If we do it in November we can all forget about it.
