Myself and my 20 months daughter also Basic Herbal TCM customers. We both have been their customer since the clinic open.

My daughter started "Xiao Er Tuina" = Baby Massage since 5 days old. Like what Lazymama commented, the baby massage really helps on baby constipation problem, appetite and sleeping problem. These 3 are the major problem always happen to baby. Yes, the price is afforable. I paid $28 per session for baby massage which I still find it cheaper than the TCM at Kembangan. TCM at Kembangan charges is from $30 and sometimes the waiting time at the clinic at least 30 mins.

As for the nose spa, my daughter ever received nose spa treatment for 7 days continuously. This is not because she is having allergic rhinitis but doing this treatment helps her sleep better at night. My daughter "breath heavily" during her sleep, and I have seen the improvement after the treatments. She can sleep better and "breath lightly" as per normal. The charges is depending on the formula prescribe by physician according to condition. Herbal Basic charges are $13-$20 for single session. Overall their service and charges are pretty reasonable and affordable.

My machine's recipe calls for 2 cups of bread flour, which I figure should be about 250g. But the Hokkaido loaf calls for a total of 600g (bread flour 540g, cake flour 60g) of flour! So I worked out the ratio and came up with this:


Fresh Milk \t\t104g
Whipping Cream \t63g
Milk Powder \t\t13g
Egg \t\t\t1 pc
Salt \t\t\t4g
Sugar \t\t\t33g
Bread flour \t\t225g
Cake Flour \t\t25g
Yeast \t\t\t4g

With this, the dough still rise up to touch the cover, so eventually I used only 3g+ of yeast and didn't have that problem anymore.

Myself and my baby girl is a patient of TCM at Havelock Road.
I’ve been seeing Dr Tan for 3 years and my girl for xiao er tuina since she was 5 days old.

Xiao Er Tuina does helps to build up my girl immune system. I sent her to infant care since she was 4 months old. She is hardly fall sick. Her teachers was commented even though my girl is sick , she is still very active and playful. Somtimes, can’t really tell she is having high fever until teacher checked her temperature.

Of course it is not an overnight treatment. It needs a lot of patience. I sent my girl twice a week for xiao er tuina until she was 4 months old. After that, once a week till she is 14 months old. She never had sleepless or constipation problem as compared to other babies.

Perhaps you may want to give it a try, seek some advice and alternative treatment for your kids.
