For my dd, she has the same English and Mandarin teachers, but a different Math teacher, when she moved up to P2. Now in P3. Hope that helps.

      I see.
So, P3 Languages Tr (Chinese & English), same as that of P2.

Is your girl Chinese Tr the same, from P1 through P3 ?
(your girl P4 next year, so fast)

P1 to P2 - same English and Mandarin teachers as P1, different Math teacher.
      P2 to P3 - all teachers different

As they say, time flies šŸ™‚

      Hi!

Would like to check if the group colour will change from P1 to P6. My girl is starting P1 next year and I'm deciding on how many set of PE shirts to buy since it's tagged to the colour that's she is being assigned to.

      Hi there is no change.

RGPS received the results of round 1 yesterday.

How many P3 girls clear Round 1, from your daughter's class ?

Not sure how many from the class...but overall, there are over 70 girls.

hi, how many sets of uniforms do you buy for your P1 girls?

For p1 last year, I bought 3 pinafores, 2 blouses, 2 sets PE tees & shorts. Provided you do laundry everyday, should be enough. On PE days, put pinafore over PE stuff, you do not need dd to change into blouse after.

      For p1 and p2 -

Are there pupils who score full marks in (English, Maths, Chinese), at end of p1 and p2 ?
P2 - not sure. DD is only going to P2 next year, but for P1, answer is Yes. The two top students tied with 300/300 this year.

My dd is P1 now. My batch of PVs was 42 if I recalled correctly. Surprisingly the class size remains at 270, there were many people who said it gonna be cut to 240 this year, thus the number of PVs accepted.

Hi all, my dd just brought home this short course (4X 2-hr lessons) conducted by Trinity Workz in Speaking Verse and Prose - Entry Level for P1 kids, with exams from LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). The course is $200 including exam fees. Has anyone send their kids before? Would appreciate your inputs.

Yes. Couple of my DD's classmates are going. Last yr in P4, the immersion trip to Taiwan was abt Chinese and the girls were heading to Beitou School, which has been est'd abt a century ago.

curious ... is it compulsory to go for this type of trip, or only for selected pupils only ? (ie. those able to speak Chinese well when go Taiwan)
      is the trip ex ?

This is not compulsory but the response was overwhelming. Sch short-listed 40 of them during the 1st round & thereafter, the girls had to attend interview. In the end, would choose 20 of them as there were 4 teachers travelling and each teacher was assigned to 5 girls. If I recalled correctly, it was around $1450 for 5D4N.

Having said, once these girls have attended the immersion trips, future trips will be given priority to those who have not attended yet.[/quote]
Hi I am terribly curious about these trips though my dd is only in P1. When do our girls start having overseas immersion trips? Is it always during June and Nov/Dec hols? Do the girls who go on the trip write a report when they are back? What's the criteria like?
