Any idea for science subjects, all year 2 students are studing the same topics at the same time or different time, eg. some classes study chem & phy in the 1st half of this year and bio in the 2nd half of this year, but some classes do vise versa?

Have a feeling that many boys who like or were good in math & science when in primary school, changed to like humanity subjects after 1~2 years study in RI, wonder why???

accountancy and econs do not have a prerequisite subjects from A level

just make sure u get 4 As

Did you & your boys attend the RIB Open House last Saturday? How do you find the boarding facilities & its program? Will you sign up for boarding for your kids in Year-3?

For those who have missed the briefing/tour, below are some useful info.. More details can be found in Stamford..

Costs 1.6+K for 10 weeks ($900+ after subsidy).
Air-con Study Rooms, Computer Rooms, Lounge.
Air-con Bedrooms.
Triple-sharing.
2 meals a day - Breakfast & Dinner (Lunch included for public holidays).
Laundry + Ironing - 3x a week.
Supervised study 7-9pm, for academically weak students.
Leadership programs & Life-skills courses (cooking, ironing etc).
Recreation (games, movies etc).

Did I miss out anything important ?

I think the facilities and program are quite good, as long as your kid can self-control very well

Any parent know after sign up boarding, can still withdraw later or not?

Just realize that you may not able to boarding for the term that you choose to, as from the briefing slides it is said assigned by school randomly according to your class…

btw, if not register during the boarding registeration period by 4 Oct, does it mean that not able to attend term 1 boarding school next year?
