I am a young tutor specializing in the coaching of tuition specifically for O level Economics, having taken it at both the O level as well as the A Levels and scored A1 and A in the respective examinations. I believe that Economics can be a very fun subject once the fundamentals are understood and applied in real-life scenarios, and my aim is to impart my passion in the subject to my tutees. Many go into Economics thinking it is a dry subject, only to come out realizing that it can be one of the most applicable subjects one can learn and use to explain daily phenomena in reality! 1. As mentioned, I have taken Economics at both the O and A level standard (especially the O level standard), and thus I fully understand what is required of students taking the examinations. Not many can boast of taking Economics at the O level standard.

2. Even with the A level experience of H2 Economics, I realized that there are some topics that are not covered in the A level curriculum that are examined at the O level standard, which gives me an edge over tutors that teaches solely at the A level standard. Sending your child to an A level economics tutor for his O level economics examinations may lead to unnecessary redundancies and some irrelevances in teaching due to accidental introduction of unnecessary topics taught only at the higher level.

However, that being said, Economics being such a broad and deep subject in nature, it is possible for me to expand beyond what is required of at the O levels, to better the understanding of Economics as a whole. This includes the bringing down simple knowledge taught at the A levels that I thought would have made me better understand concepts during my O levels. This will not lead to deviation from syllabus.

3. I understand what is required to get a high decent grade for the O level Economics, and how one should go about getting it as I have gotten a A1 for O level economics examinations as well as a subsequent A at the A Level H2 Level.
