For high altitude, you may want to take 红景天or purchase oxygen can for your needs. Some of my tour mates purchased in chinatown for the hongjintian. As for the oxygen can, you may purchase from the pharmacy/watson equivalent over there. The scenery is nice, weather is cold but the sanitary in tourist spot and eatery was bad. Carry more wet tissues if you need. Shopping wise, up to individual, we follow groups so not much bargaining. You may want to google for silver, silk, tea and jade depending on your likings. Have a nice holi.

thanks for all the advise. Dnls_mum has given me great assurance, i may do it with some other friends than my family cos the latter is more \"fussy\", :xedfingers: I think Yunan is a beautiful place.

Shopping wise, well, i bought \"over-priced\" souvenirs/silks..etc in beijing. I do not mind to \"spend\" in yunnan as I heard that they depends heavily on tourism and they are simpler than in cities ?? :scratchhead:

Thanks Dnls_mum, think i am not ready for doing F&E for this trip. Friends have been discouraging as there is a concern of "unknown" cost over there. Heard many accounts of over-charging for shopping and are caution on buying teas and jade as such. Maybe do some F&E in HK, Thailand…and ?? still looking. Thanks

Finally get it done. Not as messy as i thought.

The contractor provides big plastic sheets to cover the wardrobe and built-in.
You need to carefully unwrapped and sealed the dust inside.
The smell was bad for the first day, and lingers for 3 days after.
A one-man show, took about 5 hours to complete two rooms.
He did a satisfactory job and the floor is now polished and smooth.
      Just sharing. 😄
