Aaaah.. so i see you've made that first baby step into
starting your learning aid collection, aye..
Do not worry unduly, you will do fine. :hugs:
Would you like to share with everyone where
you bought your Letterland products, in case
there are any parents who might be interested
as well...?
And i suppose, most importantly...
how much? Hehee..
For stay-home-parents, every cent counts.
Actually before i purchase letterland product, I had tried other products like leapfrog dvd as i hav heard lots of gd review on this dvd, but i find tat my dd is nt very interested to watch. So now i wld like to try another approach, n i came to know abt letterland thru this thread, it has lots of songs and stories and i tot my gal might like it as now she loves to sing songs and listen to stories!
Thanks for the encouragement buds
I purchase my letterland items from letterland distributor. His name is Francis. Can call him @ 90081997. I bought e alphabet songs cd and flashcard at $45. -

Hey buds,
Me too... SAHM, i mean.
Okie, roger that spring.. I got
loads of DIY. Especially
to provide support for my
fellow SAHMs and SAHDs.
And do bring down the knowledge
to nannies, maids or grandparents
wherever possible. Especially if they
are the main caregivers... They can
provide indirect reinforcement when
you're not around..
Thanks so much. I have ordered e alphabet song & flashcard, wil be collecting them soon. I will be looking forward to ur reply.... v eager to receive my letterland products. Hope tat i can succeed in teaching her all the letter sound, and even to e more progressive stage.Or mayb in times to come...i will jus send her for a phonic enrichment which wil be much easier. But i am more keen to teach her on my own if i can, you & tamarind had given me alot of inspiration. Thanks so much... -

Hey Spring,
Thx much for the info. Appreciate it.
Wow, it is pricey ... hmm may consider it as a X'mas present for him then. DS is very fascinated with the washing machine at the moment. He loves to go and watch it move when we are washing the clothes in it.
Actually, there is a perpetual warehouse book sale in AMK Ave 10, will check it out there first, if not then go to Page One.
Did you buy the book from Page One at VivoCity??
Heyya....

RE: Letterland
Depends on how old your child is and how much you willing
to invest in these pre-writing and pre-reading materials for
your child. Did you mention how old your child was or did i
actually forget?[quote]
My gal is 2yo. If the materials r worth buying, i wil definitely scrimp n save to get them. But… if u hav ideas of DIY these materials, pls tel me ya…cos im a sahm… no income lei…must spend wisely…hehe… -
RE: Letterland
And for tracing, u mention finger tracing n pre writing, is it necessary to teach her both or jus pre writing?
