Both parents I/C must be presented.

Travels only requires passport. Your husband's PR I/C shld be available to be presented for the impt sch registration.

unless you got his proof of oversea posting becos of work.
can check MOE website, rem i see it somewhere.

Just view the ballot for ncps looks like more than 53 ppl all staying within 1km, so likely those who didnt get a place will be trying for 2C then should be more than 10 ppl laspe over from 2B.

looking into the history, more or less every year ballot at 2C with every 3 ppl only 1 person got it. More scary when s dragon babies year.

You cant fault the parents for being punctual right? If the parent steps in at 4.29pm, the parent would still need to complete the application form and then submit it to the admin staff.


Then there are a number of things the admin staff needs to do per registrant.

1. Checking of documents against original copies.
2. Grouping of the registratrant in distance category
3. Key in data to the MOE database.

No way all these can be done in a minute.

Are they using OneMap to check th distance ? What if the OneMap is done ?

Just to add on to this onemap checks,
the school already had a list of address hardcopy and softcopy (not sure TOP address)
and which \"distance\" you belong already known

keying the data to MOE normally done later or concurrently depend on manpower
they more focus on checking and verifying the documents.

Transfer is *never* guaranteed, so you should just secure a school that is located near your new home. And your elder gal has to simply deal with the extra travel distance for that 1 year i.e. 2019. That is the most straightforward way to solve this problem. You do not name the schools, so I assume it is easy to get a place in Phase 2C there this year.

Until Gal 1 is confirmed as a student in the new school, it will be Phase 2C for Gal 2.
Also, transfer may take more than 1 year, depending on vacancy. All things being equal, a less popular school is easily to be transferred in than a popular one.[/quote]Thanks all for the advise and doubts is mostly clear! Depends on sch. I heard ncps called those above 1km yesterday to withdraw.

Meaning the slots available of 53 for 2B already over-sub, so those >1km dont stand a chance and let them withdraw so can at least try other school.
