I put reassured, becuz the following sentence was the runner muttering a bunch of inspirational jumbo to himself, like he was assuring himself.

My DS did the 命题 about 自私。 hope his story is ok 😅

Should be okay Lah. So long as your son writes interesting or average content should be okay. But it is advisable that students with a low or average command of Chinese should not write 命题 compo.

Should be okay Lah. So long as your son writes interesting or average content should be okay. But it is advisable that students with a low or average command of Chinese should not write 命题 compo.

I had memorised 2 compos which could be used for many different topics and covered a broad range, only to flip open the paper and see the words 自私.

By then, my mind went blank and I resisted the urge to vomit all over my paper. I saw that the 6 pictures were much easier than the 命题 and concluded that more pupils would write about the pictures, hence I decided to try the latter so as to ( hopefully ) gain more marks.

Well, looks I walked straight into my deathbed.

I started writing about a younger brother who was being a brat and annoying his sister ( me ) when she was trying to study for PSLE. I only realised that my plot had already 离题 when I was halfway through. So naturally, I panicked. But then I realised I made another grave mistake :scared: :frustrated:

After completing my compo with 4 minutes to spare, I flipped through the question paper and I saw the words 你从这件事学到了什么。

I realised that I wasn’t the one who learned the lesson and scrambled to change the names. I intended to replace 我 with 小丽 and 弟弟 with 我. But just when I was changing 我 to 小丽, I ran out of time.

The bad thing was I didn’t even manage to make myself present in the story by replacing 弟弟. :stupid:

I’m so worried about my score as a friend of mine had gotten 16/40 when she 离题. Would I suffer the same fate?

Please reply if you have an idea of how many marks I would lose. Thank you :xedfingers:

For the PSLE Math question about the heart and star tape, I only put one answer, 90. However, I believe the answer is 89 and 90. For people who put the same answer as me, let us hope that we will still be given the mark. :rahrah: ( btw, there’s a small mistake in my working, it’s 135 stars, not 45, sorry :oops:
